Maggie graduated from the University of Georgia in 2004 with a B.S.Ed in Exercise and Sport Science. In 2008, she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Georgia State University. Maggie practices as an orthopedic physical therapist specializing in recurrent spinal injuries, manual therapy, nerve rehabilitation, trigger point dry needling, Redcord stability training, and real-time ultrasound imaging for muscle control. She also has a passion for sports injury prevention in all sports; especially, but not limited to, tennis, golf, and triathletes.

Maggie completed her orthopedic residency through Mercer University’s inaugural program in December 2010. She is also an adjunct clinical instructor at Mercer University. Maggie is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)-Orthopedic Section and the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia (PTAG). She has been published in patient friendly articles on tennis related injuries, as well as presented in clinical forums and patient seminars on chronic pain, nerve rehabilitation, sports injury prevention in tennis, golf and runners.
