Brian Yee, PT, MPhty, OCS, FAAOMPT
Brian earned his Master of Physical Therapy degree at Northwestern University in 1999 and in 2003 successfully completed the Master of Physiotherapy-Manipulative Coursework program at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Brian is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Mercer University Physical Therapy program involved in the orthopedic physical therapy curriculum. He also performs clinical research concerning nerve pain and rehabilitation. Clinical specialties include manual therapy, nerve rehabilitation, trigger point dry needling, Redcord stability training, and real-time ultrasound imaging for muscle control. Brian also coordinates with top coaching professionals to assess and improve biomechanical performance in golf and tennis utilizing 3D motion capture reality systems.
Brian is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)-Orthopedic Section, a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT).
Brian has been published in clinical textbooks regarding nerve pain rehabilitation, as well as golf and tennis injury related articles. He is also the first Physical Therapist to be a content provider for Sharecare (www.sharecare.com) – a medical and health information website sponsored by the likes of Dr. Oz and Cleveland Clinic.
