Our Approach

From recurring pain to performance…

Motion Stability is an orthopedic rehabilitation practice focused on resolving recurring pain and restoring patients to their performance goals.

Patients often seek help that provides short-term relief only to find that their pain returns, gets worse and more widespread. Research shows that 90% of back pain patients feel better within 4-10 weeks, but a year later up to 80% of patients experience back pain again. Motion Stability takes a comprehensive approach to address the multiple sources of pain; educate the patient how to prevent future injury; and how to reach functional and sports goals.

Whether the patient's injury is in the spine, pelvis, or extremities, Motion Stability utilizes and integrates four main categories to understand and treat the condition. This includes applying our knowledge of the 'pain sciences', effectively treating the involved 'tissue pathologies', educating patients on proper 'movement patterns' to use in function and sport, and investigating any 'internal systems' that may contribute to the patient's pain complaints.

Recurring pain is rarely due to a single diagnosis. It takes a multi-dimensional approach to determine the cause and treat the injury appropriately.
