Brian working with PGA Tour Player – Matt Kuchar

Motion Stability works in conjunction with Terminus Club, which is a Nike Golf Performance Center. This center is designed to provide a range of golfers, from recreational to PGA tour players, the ability to improve all aspects of their game. The marquee attraction at this facility is the utilization of 3D motion capture technology that can visualize and measure a golfer's swing, from every angle throughout the motion. The club's head golf pro, Jon Tattersall (Golf Magazine – Top 100 Instructor,) is highly regarded in his ability to assess and communicate with the golfer on ways to improve their swing that is unique to them. This approach differs from the traditional coaching philosophy which has every golfer follow a specific and similar swing thought.

In our model we believe that an individual's unique strength, flexibility, and past as well as current pain or injuries guides the way the golfer swings. If a golfer is trying to swing a certain way but their body mechanics do not allow for it, injuries can occur. Jon collaborates with the golf-specific strength and agility team, Nick Garrity and Billy Mitchell, as well as the Motion Stability physical therapists to determine the golfer's individual capabilities. He then, upon recommendation from the Terminus Club team, tailors the individual's swing to match their mechanics.

Motion Stability has the primary responsibility to treat golfer's with pain and injuries. However, they also assess players and help to improve any limitations in motion and strength in an effort to prevent future injuries and as well as improve their performance. We then collaborate with the rest of the Terminus Club team to return the golfer to swinging, but with improved efficiency and performance- all while staying injury free. This model has proven to be effective and has made itself known through the results we get from recreational to professional golfers. The success of this integrative model has offered us opportunities to be published in Golf Magazine and various other publications.
